3MT Finalist
I was a finalist of Thesis in 3 Minutes Competition held at Monash University representing as the winner of Monash Information Technology It was a long journey from many coaching sessions with Julie Holden, several two faculty rounds, feedback from many audiences to time and energy spent in improving every aspect we could imagine of! In the above image, I stand in the front third from right corner.
Learning to present my PhD work in three minutes was massive learning curve for me. I learned to address different audiences and focus on what’s the most important or impactful parts of my research that people should know.
My second round of experience was a critical phase where I forgot my script. I took a deep breath and shared what I know about my own research while remembering the keywords to continue and then survive through it. Above is a recording of it.
I was yet selected to the final round to represent my faculty. Following is a snippet of my final presentation.
